Each month, the PTA invites a specific grade level to stay after school, usually on a Friday, where they will enjoy dinner, games and a movie in the school’s auditorium. School age siblings are welcome. Dinner and a Movie Night is a PTA supported event run by parent volunteers to help build community an offer the service of child care.
This is a rolling school community event that serves our parents and our children. The aim is to allow parents to get a few hours off to enjoy dinner and/or a movie themselves while their students enjoy the company of their peers in a relaxed and fun setting.
Ideally, we would like parents from other grade levels to help rather than the grade level being hosted. As an example, if we are hosting 1st graders – we don’t want all our volunteers to be 1st grade parents – because then – well you get it. This also gives us an opportunity to meet parents and students from different grade levels.
Please consider volunteering for this fun event. Proceeds from each event will be used for grade level support. Here is the Dinner and a Movie Night schedule for this school year.
