Enrollment Application Due  

All applications for Round 1 school assignments are due on Friday, January 27, 2012 . Please be sure not to miss this important deadline.

Skate Night
FSK families will take over the ice at Yerba Buena Ice Skating Center on Saturday, January 14, at 6 pm, for our fifth annual F.S. Key Skate Night, coordinated by the 5th grade to raise money for their overnight Balclutha field trip. Please remember to get your tickets and feel free to bring your friends!

Students’ Progress Reports
December 16, 2011 was the last day of the second quarter. Your child’s progress report for the second quarter will be sent home this week. Please feel free to contact the teacher if you have any questions about your child’s progress.

Reading Eggs/Reading Express
Username and Password for students interested in these programs were issued in December. In the exception of a few who piloted the Reading Eggs program, all the usernames and passwords should be the same as Study Island’s. We still have a few more slots open. Please let the office know if you’d like to enroll your child.

School Breakfast & Lunches
Our December report shows that some families still owe the school district lunch money. If you received a letter from the school, please take care of the payment promptly. We strongly encourage families to pre-pay the meals ahead of time so that we do not have to lose time in collecting. You can do it by cash, check, or better yet, on-line at www.mealpayplus.com . If you feel that there’s an error, please call Student Nutrition at 749-3604 directly. Thank you for your cooperation!

Update on School Renovation
Our third and fourth graders are back in the school building and our first grade classes, Mrs. Delaney’s class, and Library are now in the temporary bungalows. The new play structure is scheduled to complete in 2 weeks. The new balcony should be done by mid- February. New fences on the south side are being constructed. Boys’ and girls’ restroom exterior doors have been replaced. Exit door for Room 109 will soon be installed. The school elevator is now operable.
