Next Friday, Feb. 3rd, is Passport Day and International Night!
Passport Day provides the opportunity for students to visit other classrooms for interactive presentations on countries around the globe. This takes place during the school day.
International Night is a Family Potluck starting at 6pm, celebrating the diverse cultures of our school through food and entertainment.
Skate Night will be on Saturday, January 14th fromat the Yerba Buena Ice Skating rink downtown. We rent out the whole rink, so this will be an event only for our community. Not only will there be ice skating for 2 1/2 hours, but there will also be a bake sale, a craft room and a photo booth. The rink's snack shop will also be open for savory food purchases. This is the main fundraiser for the 5th graders to help pay for their 5th grade field trip and graduation ceremony. I hope you will all come out to support them.
Tickets are $15 a person or $55 for a 4 pack of tickets. The price includes admission and skate rental. Because this is a fundraiser, everyone who attends will need to pay for admission whether you skate or not. Please join us for Walk and Roll to School Day on October 5th!
WHAT IS IT?
Walk & Roll to School Day is an international event that gives students, parents, and school staff an opportunity to promote health, safety, and a concern for the environment by choosing an active commute to school. Join us by commuting to school next Wednesday by walking, cycling, or riding a scooter or skateboard.
WHY DO IT?
It’s fun! And students who get to school on their own legs or wheels will get a prize.
