Francis Scott Key Elementary,
has a combination of programs that serve the after school needs of families. These programs run 2-6 pm daily, and support the regular
curriculum of the school. It can be confusing, but there is a program run by Child Development Center, another run by CYC, and one by Sunset Neighborhood Beacon Center.
Each program fills a specific need but there can be overlaps. The CDC program offers year round care. CYC is primarily for kindergarten and first grade children though it is also good for families who need a flexible after school schedule. The Beacon Center program is primarily aimed at second to fifth grade students.
