Skate Night Huge Success!

 Thanks to all for helping make Skate Night the most successful one ever. Mr Wong's stylized interpretation of Swan Lake drew rave reviews. In other news, Lillian Wong was cited for speeding and disorderly conduct.

Principal’s Message

Welcome to Francis Scott Key! We’ve designed our web site to  provide vital school information and learning resources for our families as well as prospective students. I hope you will find our web site helpful.

Faculty and staff, students, parents, and community volunteers, all agree: Francis Scott Key is a great place to be! Our staff members work closely together to provide the best educational experience for our students. We nurture them in a caring environment and provide support for them to succeed. I’m proud of our students’ academic achievement which has earned our school the State of California Title I Academic Achievement Award four times in the last five years and state API Rank 9.

Parent involvement is an integral part of our success. Our parents stand behind our school goals and provide leadership for the school to get better every year. They actively participate in school activities as well as in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the school programs through their involvement in the School Site Council and PTA.

Our school also has strong ties with the Sunset Neighborhood Beacon Center and other community agencies. After school programs are available for students on site in all grades and over 40% of our students are enrolled in one of the three after school programs.
